Spring into Myrtle Beach’s Calendar of Events
Myrtle Beach in April is the perfect place and time to plan a memorable vacation for your family. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most exciting activities for all to enjoy. Here's our list of several events you can look forward to during your stay with us this April at Grand Palms Resort:

Bunny Bash Eggstravaganza
Tuesday, April 12th & Thursday, April 14th
Enjoy a classic Easter egg hunt, crafts, cookie decorating, a movie with some refreshments, and an appearance from the Easter Bunny. What an egg-citing day! You'll have plenty to do at our Bunny Bash Eggstravaganza. The Easter Event is $15 per child. Sign up by 4 pm the day prior.

La Belle Amie Vineyard Tour
Wednesdays
"Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina," as the wise, old song goes – that is, unless you have a glass of fine wine from La Belle Amie Vineyard in-hand. Take the trip with us to La Belle Amie Vineyard that includes a self-guided tour of the vineyard, wine tasting, lunch and live music. Tickets may be purchased from our Indoor Pool Office by calling Ext. 1400.
The shuttle leaves the Resort at 10 am and returns to the Resort by 4 pm. (Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Must have a minimum of 8 participants.) Read more about La Belle Amie here.

S'mores at the Patio at Grand Palms Resort
Everyday
Come relax by an open fire while making something special to eat. Enjoy making and eating delicious s'mores with kits available for $5 at the Indoor Pool Office. Read more about our S'mores Activity here.

Ahoy, Mateys! Set your course for adventure and join in for swashbuckling tales of the high seas!

SOS Spring Safari "Shag Dance Festival"
April 21 - May 1
SOS Spring Migration is here! Celebrate with thousands of folks doing the official state dance, the shag. For 10 days, the biggest adult party on the East Coast crashes into North Myrtle Beach like an ocean wave. Popular bands play crowd favorites on Main Street and shag dance instructors offer classes to the masses.

Earth Day Celebration at Brookgreen Gardens
April 23
Attend Brookgreen Gardens for a day filled with fun and educational stations for all ages. Adults learn more about native plants and conservation, while children explore S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) stations to complete their Earth Day passports. Meet some of the Garden's native animal ambassadors, learn through a horticulture demonstration, and enjoy a day of music and fun. This event is included with Garden admission.

The Platters, The Drifters, and The Coasters at the Alabama Theatre
April 23
An evening filled with the classic sounds of the 50's and 60's. The Coasters perform a string of hits that contain humorous material and typically sell out wherever they go. The Platters recorded just under 400 songs and have sold over 80 million records. The Drifters linked 50's rhythm & blues with 60's soul music. A must stop for the 50's and 60's music lover.

Art in the Park at Market Commons

Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild holds its 50th year of Art in the Park at Valor Park at Market Common. Typical art includes paintings, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fabric, glass, metal, pottery, and stone.

The Gather Vocal Band at The Carolina Opry Theater
April 24
The current Gaither Vocal Band roster is comprised of a group of highly gifted artists who are known around the world for their powerhouse vocals, innovative harmonies, and life-altering message of grace, hope, and redemption. The Gaither Vocal Band visit the Carolina Opry Theater for one night only.

Ground Zero's 14th Annual Dragon Boat Festival
April 30
The Dragon Boat Festival is Ground Zero's premier annual fundraiser and will be held at Grand Park at The Market Common. Teams of 20 paddlers and one drummer compete, racing for the fastest time in their division. Participants and teams win awards and prizes for their race results and fundraising efforts. The event is free to spectators who can enjoy the variety of activities the Festival has to offer. In addition to the races, there is a drummer costume voting contest, live DJ, and awards ceremony, plus food and drink vendors, entertainment, and a Family Fun Zone is available throughout the day.

Shadow Bay Celtic Festival
April 30

Three Dog Night at Alabama Theatre
April 30
Legendary band, Three Dog Night, now in its 5th decade, claims some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. In the years 1969 through 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night. Their hits weave through the fabric of pop culture today, whether on the radio where they are heard day in and day out, in TV commercials, or in major motion pictures.
