Happy Fall Y'all!
Gratitude, family, pumpkin pie, turkey–a recipe for a great November topped off with a trip to Myrtle Beach. You’ll find each of these while staying at Grand Palms Resort along with the best weather of the year and much smaller crowds. Throughout the month visit numerous festivals, tasty food events, art events, and even Resort activities to be thankful and ring in the Christmas spirit! ‘Tis the Season for Holiday Shows in Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach is ringing in the season with new and exciting holiday shows. Pirates are hanging their garlands and Legends is fa-la-la-la-laing with classic Christmas carols. All of the big entertainment venues in Myrtle Beach have begun selling tickets to their Christmas Shows. You’ll be sure to get into the Holiday spirit during your vacation with any of these Christmas venues. See the full list of venues with dates/times here.

Palms Paint Night at Grand Palms Resort
Tuesdays
Includes a 8"x10" canvas, easel to use, pre-sketched designs, music, and a complimentary glass of wine with snacks! Delicious flatbread pizza is available for purchase. Read more about Palms Paint Night here.

La Belle Amie Wine Tasting
Wednesdays
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina, as the wise, old song goes – that is, unless you have a glass of fine wine from La Belle Amie Vineyard in-hand. Take a tour with us to La Belle Amie Vineyard that includes a self-guided tour of the vineyard, wine tasting, lunch and live music. Tickets can be purchased from our Indoor Pool Office by calling Ext. 1400. The shuttle leaves the Resort at 10 am and returns to the Resort by 4 pm. (Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. 8 participant minimum.)

S'mores at the Patio at Grand Palms Resort
Everyday
Enjoy making and eating delicious s'mores with kits available for $5 at the Indoor Pool Office. Read more about our S'mores Activity here.

Taste of the Town
November 2
Enjoy the area's finest restaurants serving up tapas-style foods at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center from 4 - 10 pm. All proceeds are given to a local school.

Surfside Beach Holiday Market
November 2-December 21
Give your holiday spirit a boost and visit the Surfside Beach Holiday Market. They will have some interesting crafts and local vendors to help you get into the mood of the season. The Surfside Beach Holiday Market will be held on Tuesdays from 11 am until 2 pm just around the corner at Memorial Park in Surfside Beach, SC.

Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival
November 5-6
Head on over to downtown Myrtle Beach for hundreds of food trucks serving delicious and unique creations. This event will be held Friday, November 5 from 5-9 pm, and Saturday, November 6 from 11 am -7 pm, so there will be plenty of time for you to try food from every truck!

Brew at the Zoo at Brookgreen Gardens
November 6
Presented by the Friends of Brookgreen Gardens, Brew at the Zoo is always a favorite fall event. Enjoy tastings of regional and national craft beers. Regional favorites, The Paul Grimshaw Band, will provide entertainment.

40th Annual Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals
November 11-14
Dickens Christmas Show & Festivals is a unique National award-winning event comprised of a multitude of shopping and entertainment options for individuals and groups alike! The cornerstone of the event is a Victorian Holiday Marketplace. Here against a Victorian Holiday background, one will find strolling entertainment along with 300 plus period clad vendors hawking everything from jewelry, crafts, gifts, toys, art, gourmet foods, holiday décor, and much more.

Mythical & Medieval Fest
November 13-14
The Mythical & Medieval Fest is a Renaissance themed festival to raise money for Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams. Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams is local non-profit in Myrtle Beach, SC that provides positive activities to children that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected and reside in group homes or shelters. This noble charity provides you with a whimsical realm filled with a fairy forest, medieval combat, princesses, artisan’s village area, fire show, live music, archery, Viking toss, and lots more!

Annual Tree Lighting - The Market Common
November 20
Join in for Santa’s arrival and Market Common's Annual Tree Lighting to kick off the Christmas season. They have carolers and other performances, pictures with Santa, and vendors with holiday treats amidst the backdrop of The Market Common’s festive holiday décor. The event is free with complimentary carriage rides from 5-8 pm.

Lighting of the Landing - Barefoot Landing
November 20
Lighting of the Landing at Barefoot Landing will take place on Saturday, November at 6 pm. There will be Fireworks at 7 pm that night also.
51st Annual SC State Bluegrass Festival
November 25-27
The 51st annual South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival is held Thanksgiving weekend, November 25-27, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach. For lineup information or to purchase tickets, please click here.

Winter Wonderland at the Beach
November 26-January 2
A new holiday festival is coming to downtown Myrtle Beach for 37 consecutive days. Winter Wonderland at The Beach is held from November 26 - January 2 at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place overlooking Myrtle Beach’s Boardwalk and beachfront. This inaugural event features a covered, outdoor ice-skating rink, a walk-through holiday lights experience and additional holiday-themed offerings.
