Go early to ensure a prime viewing spot on the beach and boardwalk. Grab a spot on the sand and enjoy the colorful fireworks spectacle reflecting over the ocean.
Even better, as a Grand Palms Resort guest, you'll be close to two of the Grand Strand's most epic July 4th fireworks shows - the 10 pm displays at Broadway at the Beach's Fireworks Extravaganza and the Summerfest Concert and Fireworks at Barefoot Landing. Cherry Grove Pier at 9:30 pm, their display is viewable from the beach near the pier in North Myrtle Beach.
Murrells Inlet MarshWalk at 10 pm over the MarshWalk boardwalk area, performs one of the largest shows on the Grand Strand. 12 minutes south of the Resort.

Parades, Flyovers, Races & More July 4th Fun
In addition to the amazing fireworks, Grand Palms Resort puts you in the middle of all the area's top Independence Day celebrations.
Don't miss the colorful Murrells Inlet Boat Parade at 6 pm on July 4th, culminating in a waterfront party at the lively Murrells Inlet MarshWalk.
Farther south, there’s the 56th Annual Pawleys Island Parade at 10 am, with unique makeshift floats like boats, trucks, cars decked out in patriotic colors.
Closer to the Resort, the Surfside Beach Golf Cart Parade at 11 am is a quirky and fun-filled event.
Then at 1 pm, look to the skies for the awe-inspiring Salute from the Shore Military Flyover along the Grand Strand beaches.
There are a couple of fun runs with the Annual Red, White & Blue 5K at Barefoot Landing starting at 7 am. You’ll find a free kids' 50-yard dash too.
At The Market Common, the Annual Myrtle Beach Independence Day 5K starts at 7 am and is just minutes away from Grand Palms Resort. They also have an Uncle Sam's 1 Mile Fun Run and a 1-Mile Doggie Walk.
