Check-In

Check-In begins at 4 pm, however due to staffing shortages not only in the Myrtle Beach area but nationwide, there may be delays at check-in.

To expedite the Check-In process, we ask that you have a credit/debit card to be placed on file. If there are any fees due, they will be collected during Check-In. If there are any incidental charges made to your room during your stay, we will collect any balances due at Checkout. You must present a picture ID matching the name on the reservation and you must be at least 21 years old. You will also be asked to provide the make, model, and license plate number of your vehicle at Check-In.

Checkout

In order to prepare your unit for incoming guests, our housekeepers will arrive at your unit by 10 am. 

For your convenience, to check out you may call the Front Desk (ext. 1000) and drop off your key in one of the designated drop boxes: These are located at the Security Office, at the Front Desk, or just outside of the Front Desk building by the doors.

 

If you are departing before 7 am, you may leave a voicemail at ext. 1010 regarding your departure.

 

Late checkouts available upon request based on availability for a nominal fee.

Please help us prepare to make the next person’s stay enjoyable by making sure all dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher is started, by putting trash in the trashcans located on the side of the building, and by piling all dirty linens together.

Grand Palms Resort Policies

Arrival/Departure Info: The balance of room charges is due upon arrival. Check-In begins at 4 pm and checkout time is 10 am. To expedite the check in process, we ask that you have a credit/debit card to be placed on file. We will collect any balances due at check in. You must present a picture ID matching the name on the reservation and must be 21+ years old. If you are checking in after hours, it is advised that you call ahead and speak with one of our Guest Services Agents in preparation. Grand Palms Resort is located just south of Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Please be sure to choose the set of directions that takes you to Surfside Beach (and not Myrtle Beach). Our address is 1250 US Highway 17 North, Surfside Beach, SC 29575. If this address doesn't work on your GPS device an alternative address may be used, 1100 Platt Blvd., Surfside Beach, SC 29575. Keep in mind that the Resort is approximately 1 mile away from the Front Desk Building where you check in. Updated Cancellation Policy: Reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking are free of charge. Reservations canceled 14 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee (first night's deposit). Reservations canceled within 14 days of the arrival date will forfeit the reservation deposit. Reservations may reschedule for a minimal fee based on availability. Additional fees may apply based on the unit type and reschedule dates. For reservations booked via online travel agents or other third party travel sites, guests are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their cancellation policies.

 

Parking: Due to parking constraints, we must limit spaces to only regular sized vehicles such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles. We do not allow golf carts, trailers, or scooters. Please be sure to register your vehicle at check-in.

 

Pet Policy: Grand Palms Resort prohibits pets of any kind. Resort HOAs have voted to be pet-free but certified ADA Service Dogs are accepted. There is a $500.00 (plus tax) recovery fee if a pet is brought into a condo. Information on nearby boarding options is included in the article, Your Pets Deserve a Vacation Too!

 

Terms and Conditions: Please note, Grand Palms Resort is a smoke-free resort (designated areas only) violation can result in a fine. As a privately-owned resort, the Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Grand Palms Resort is not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. The occupant or occupant’s guests will be held responsible for any damage that may occur in the unit during their stay and for any missing inventoried items following checkout.
