At Grand Palms Resort, we’re always working to enhance your vacation experience, and we’re excited to share several updates and improvements happening throughout the Resort.

✨ A Fresh Look and Enhanced Comfort

Our Indoor Pool (IDP) has been newly plastered, giving it a refreshed and clean finish—perfect for a relaxing swim year-round. While you’re there, be sure to check out our upgraded locker rooms, now featuring brand-new lockers and a modern, inviting look.

We’ve also completed renovations in the Event Center bathrooms, which are now ADA-friendly, offering improved accessibility and comfort for all our guests.

🚶‍♂️ Pedestrian-Friendly Enhancements

We’re continuing to expand the Presidential Drive sidewalk, making it easier and safer to walk around the Resort. Our goal is to complete the full stretch by Spring 2026—so you can enjoy a more connected, walkable experience during your stay.

In addition, Presidential Drive has been freshly sealed, improving both appearance and durability for vehicles, bicycles, and strollers alike.

A new shuttle stop bench at building 241 makes it even easier to catch a ride to the beach or around the Resort, adding extra convenience for guests in that area.

🌿 Landscaping & Outdoor Beauty Improvements

We've been busy upgrading the landscaping across the property, starting with the foyer entrances of buildings 210–218, now beautifully accented with new pavers and fresh greenery. Behind buildings 230–232, guests will enjoy a revitalized landscape that may also benefit from recently improved drainage systems.

In addition, we’ve installed new sod throughout the Resort, adding lush, green comfort to outdoor common areas. In total, over 10,000 square feet of fresh sod has been laid across multiple locations, enhancing the overall guest experience.

📲 A New Way to Stay in Touch

Need fresh towels, have a question about your room, or want a shuttle ride to the beach? Guests can now text the Front Desk directly for assistance during their stay. It’s one more way we’re making your vacation smooth, simple, and stress-free.

⚡Charge Up with Our New Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

We’re excited to go green with the installation of 2 brand new Electric Vehicle Charging stations! As more of our guests embrace eco-friendly transportation, we want to make it easier for you to keep your vehicle charged and ready to explore the beautiful Myrtle Beach area and enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation to its fullest. Our charging stations are conveniently located at the Outdoor Pool parking lot, enabling you to recharge your car while you recharge at the Resort.
