At Grand Palms Resort, we’re always working to make your vacation experience better, safer, and more enjoyable. Over the past several months, we’ve made a variety of improvements across the property, from guest conveniences to major infrastructure updates, that we’re excited to share with you.

Fresh New Look Outdoors

We know first impressions matter, so we’ve invested in enhancing the beauty and accessibility of our grounds.

• New Palms & Artificial Turf: We’ve refreshed our landscaping with vibrant artificial turf and beautiful new palms property-wide, bringing an even more tropical atmosphere to your stay.

• Front Wall Relandscape: We filled the front wall area with more tropical plants to create more of that vacation ambiance right from the entrance of the Resort.

• Paving & Pavers: Our parking lots and walkways have been repaved and resealed for a smoother, cleaner, and safer experience. In addition, new pavers were added around Buildings 200, 208, 221, and 223.

• Sidewalk Expansion: The sidewalks now run all the way from the front of the Resort and ends all the way at the back by building 243.

Convenience & Comfort for Guests

Your comfort is always our top priority. We’ve added features to make your stay even more effortless.

• Shuttle Stop Updates: The Shuttle Stops have been updated and construction is underway at Building 217 to improve access to our complimentary shuttle service to the beach and other Resort areas.

• Text the Front Desk: Need assistance during your stay here at Grand Palms Resort? Text 843-790-2616. You can now conveniently text our Front Desk team during your stay for quick responses and support.

• In-Room Safes: Select units now feature in-room safes, providing added peace of mind for storing your valuables.

• Bike Racks: New bike racks make it easier for guests who love to explore Myrtle Beach on two wheels.

Building & Accessibility Upgrades

Safety and accessibility remain key focuses of our improvement projects.

• Roof Replacements: Roofs at Buildings 211 and 218 have been fully replaced.

• ADA Enhancements: Several areas around the Resort have been upgraded for better accessibility, including the Indoor Pool and Lazy River entrance gates, Lazy River entrance concrete, Outdoor Pool Front Entrance gate, and the 206/208 grill area. These changes ensure more inclusive and comfortable access for all our guests.

• Point, Tuck, and Seal: Multiple buildings have undergone detailed exterior maintenance to ensure long-term durability and a polished look.

• Resort Arcade: We’ve upgraded our arcade with new games the whole family will love, bringing even more fun to your getaway.

• Sensory friendly board: Our non-verbal friends at the Resort can now enjoy the playground in a new way. It's now easier than ever to communicate by using the newly installed sensory-friendly board.
