Murrells Inlet Boat Parade
Starting at 10 am, boats decorated in red, white, and blue will sail from Garden City Beach and make their way through Murrells Inlet, reaching the Marshwalk at approximately 10:30 am. Preferred viewing areas can be found along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Belin United Methodist Church and Morse Park Landing.
Salute from the Shore
Salute from the Shore is a cherished 4th of July tradition in South Carolina. This special event features a military flyover that stretches the entire length of South Carolina’s coastline, offering a unique way for individuals, families, and friends to honor our armed forces while celebrating Independence Day on the beach.
Starting at 1 pm, F-16s from Shaw Air Force Base will make their way down the coastline. An all-volunteer brigade of Warbirds will fly down the coast, including planes such as T-34s, T-6s and T-28s.
Since the shuttles must pause on the Fourth of July because of road closures, you'll want to find your own ride to your holiday activities.
