Rustic Bar at River City Cafe - Surfside Beach location

Upon entering River City Café, we are greeted by a friendly hostess accompanied by the sweet smell of something wonderful on the grill. If this aroma doesn't make you want a burger, I don't know what will. The restaurant has a hometown vibe that is very comforting. We have the option to sit either inside or outside, and we decide to eat outside to enjoy the gorgeous view of the beach.

Bite into one of their tasty burgers while you're there

If specialty burgers are what you're craving, this is your hamburger haven! They have a long list of different types of their "world famous" burgers to choose from such as their Nacho Crunch Burger, their Peanut Butter Banana Burger, and their Double Dawg Dare Ya Burger. Their menu also has a lot to offer for even the pickiest of eaters. We decide to keep it old school and go with the classic burgers and fries and, of course, a nice large ice cup of cold Coca-Cola. We love that they have a customizable burger option and we were able to pick our favorite toppings for a juicy, stacked burger. Or if you prefer, you can order a robust and healthy salad with your choice of one of their homemade dressings. They have appetizers, salads, burgers, fries, specialty sandwiches, entrees, and, of course, dessert!

These Onion Rings will satisfy your savory craving

To start off, we have to get these humongous onion rings. I have been craving onion rings for weeks and lets just say this satisfied my craving tenfold. The onion rings are served piping hot, crispy with a tangy sauce for dipping. We also notice some folks were wearing them as bracelets because they are so big!
