As you drive from the Front Desk to the Resort entrance, you may not have realized that you’re driving through Deerfield Plantation – the community where Grand Palms Resort is located. This community stretches all the way from the Business 17 to Highway 17 Bypass encompassing several neighborhoods in between. Grand Palms Resort has long played an active role in its community. There’s a lot going on here and you’ll notice some big changes in the neighborhood during your next visit to Grand Palms Resort.

You’ll notice a dramatic change in the scenery as you drive to Grand Palms Resort after checking in. There is a few new neighborhoods including The Retreat at Ocean Commons, Montage at Ocean Commons, and Ocean Palms around the Resort.

The Retreat at Ocean Commons located on what used to be part of the north golf course is nearing completion with its last few homes in the final stages of construction. The entrance to this new community is on the right (north side) of Platt Blvd as you drive to Grand Palms Resort.

The Montage at Ocean Commons community continues with its development and is now beginning its third phase on what used to be part of the north golf course. Grand Palms Resort in relation to the Ocean Palms construction site

The Ocean Palms residential development has begun construction on its second phase of homes along side of our Resort behind the odd side of Double Eagle and Presidential Drives. Although there may be lots of dirt to see now, we hope that the new phase of the Ocean Palms community will only add to the view of what used to be part of the old south golf course. And once the dust from the construction has settled, we will be planting additional palms and other beautiful greenery between our new neighbors and the Resort. We're committed to making Grand Palms Resort your vacation oasis and a beautiful vacation destination for you now and for years to come.
