Boardwalk Fright Nights Every Friday and Saturday in October

Boardwalk Fright Nights is a month-long event located in the Boardwalk area of downtown Myrtle Beach featuring roaming live zombies, discounted rides and attractions, and live music. The scary-good times run every Friday & Saturday night at dusk as the neighborhood transforms into the freaky-fun place to be for the Halloween season.


Navigate your way through our dark corridors or you can save the world from the zombies during your journey. Do you dare to take a tour or do have what it takes to strike them down? The choice is yours! Tickets are good for one year. Children 8-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to its intense scary nature, children under 8 are not permitted.


Dr. Screams Fright Farm October 16 – October 31

Race through the deserted farm house and Deranged Backwoods Hayride as you are chased by your worst nightmares! Slip through the delirium of the abandoned Twisted Psycho Circus.

The amusement becomes alarming when you try to outrun what might be lurking in the stalks of the 6-acre Haunted Corn Maze.

Looking for somewhere to Trick or Treat with your kiddos? Check out Trunk or Treat at Fun Warehouse. This annual event features local businesses that pass out candy to kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Get ready for appearances from your favorite local mascots and characters, live entertainment, and tons of fun. This family-friendly event is free.

Enjoy a free Halloween movie presented by The Market Common. This Disney tale about Jack Skellington, the leader of Halloweentown, where the residents’ life work is to scare humans. After getting a glimpse of life in Christmastown, however, he schemes to kidnap Santa Claus and celebrate a very different Christmas. Fun for the whole family! Rated PG. Bring your lawn chairs (or rent one of ours) and blankets to get cozy in Valor Park for what will surely be an entertaining evening.


October 30

Attend the biggest and best Halloween Bash in Myrtle Beach on The Avenue at Broadway at the Beach on Saturday, October 30th beginning at 7 pm. This event features a costume contest, a live DJ and more. For more information, please call (843) 444-2096.


Three talented bands, non-stop music, a beautiful outdoor venue, lots of friendly folks, and your favorite wines, beers, beverages and festival foods to enjoy from their outdoor concessions areas. Come with friends, or make new ones during your visit.

Children’s Imagination Walk at Brookgreen Gardens

October 30

Take an exciting “Imagination Walk” through the gardens on Saturday, October 30, anytime between 10 am - 4 pm. Wear your favorite costume and enjoy tricks and treats along the way. "Treats" will be individually packaged and offered at several stations throughout the walk.

The event is catered toward children 3 -12 years old, but all ages are welcome! Pick up your scavenger hunt map next to Keepsakes, the Museum Shop. Free with Gardens admission.

Their family-friendly Spook-Quarium Halloween Splash is packed with all kinds of ghoulish goodies, including a monster-mash DJ bash, a costume contest, arts and crafts, and tons of other tricks and treats. Boogie on down for a wicked awesome Halloween eve at the Aquarium.


Bring a blanket or chair (or rent one of ours), pick up your popcorn at Colette's Popcorn or grab a snack from one of their fabulous restaurants or eateries and relax as you enjoy the free showing of "Hocus Pocus" on the Dockside Village Amphitheater lawn starting at 7 pm.

Hometown Halloween at The Market Common October 31

Market Commons will have spooky carriage rides around the Market Common from 4 – 7 pm. Shops with an orange balloon will be participating in trick or treating fun from 5 - 7 pm. They'll also be watching some scary moves during the Monster Mash dance party in front of Grand 14 cinema too. There is fun for the whole family awaiting you on Halloween night, so be sure to come join in on the fun!


Happy Halloween! Bring the kiddos and enjoy trick or treating to participating merchants at Barefoot Landing on Halloween night from 5 - 7 pm.

October 31st

The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk Halloween celebration is one you won’t want to miss. Taking place on Sunday, October 31, the Marsh Walk hosts costume contests for kids and adults and trick-or-treating beginning at 5 pm. The kids’ costume contest is up first with prizes for Most Creative, Best Group, Funniest, and Scariest for ages 3 and up. Kids ages two and under compete for the "Awes Applause" award. Prizes include trophies, ribbons, and candy bags and are awarded in front of Drunken Jack’s at 6 pm. Finally, the adult costume contest begins at 7 pm and awards over $4,000 in cash and prizes. Compete for peoples’ choice, best duo/group, best individual, big & bulky, Murrells Inlet-themed, and honorable mention. Ceremonies are held at Wicked Tuna at 10 pm. Enjoy food and drinks at all the eight MarshWalk restaurants throughout the evening.
