Activities Offered this Winter
Kids Crafts
Kids can glue, paint, and create their very own craft. Kits vary in price and include everything your child needs to complete the craft from start to finish.
Stuff a bright green plush turtle and design a take-home box for your new loved one! You also receive a T-Shirt for your turtle that you can decorate. (Bring the T-Shirt to the Tie-Dye Activity) A portion of the proceeds are donated to help local sea turtle rescue. To learn more about the Build a Turtle activity, click here.
Totally Turtles
Bring your youngsters to make a turtle mosaic and learn about sea turtles! A portion of the proceeds are donated to help local sea turtle rescue.
Want to take part in our activities but want to do it on your own time? We have kits available for you! Kits can be purchased from the Indoor Pool Office.
Movies at the Activity Center
All day long classics will play on our projector screen. Concessions are available for purchase at the Indoor Pool.
S'mores at the Patio
Enjoy making and eating delicious s'mores with kits available for $5 at the Indoor Pool Office. Read more about our S'mores Activity here.

Palms Paint Night
Tuesdays 3 pm @ Activity Center

Mother Earth Day Spa
By Appointment @ Indoor Pool | Day Spa | Fitness Center
You’re in incredibly good hands with any of Mother Earth Day Spa’s state licensed massage therapists, including owner Ellen Brady, who has been working at Grand Palms Resort for more than a decade. All therapists are nationally certified for massage and bodywork therapy and reflexology (pinpointing pressure points in your feet to relieve stress, alleviate allergies, headaches, even depression.)

Upon check-in you receive a recreation pass which grants access to all of the Resort Amenities. You will have access to our Complimentary Shuttle Service, Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool, Lazy River, Fitness Center, Hot Tubs, Activity Center, Breakfast Buffet, Seasonal Poolside Grill and more. We also offer lots of activities and events on site at the Resort. Stay up-to-date with the latest season’s activities with the Activity Calendar in our Welcome Magazine. *Some activities and amenities may require a nominal fee.

Duplin Winery
Enjoy wine tastings and sample at least ten preselected Duplin wines while they walk you through the flavors and history of each wine.
